Shimatabi Yachts welcomes families with children on board! Please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the entire trip. For their safety, we regret to inform that preschool children and infants are not permitted onboard.

We understand that seasickness can be a concern for some passengers. To alleviate this issue, anti-sickness medication is available onboard if needed. However, our catamaran yachts, "Asanagi" and "Yūnagi," were specifically designed to reduce rolling and enhance stability, minimizing the likelihood of seasickness.

Please be informed that the safety of our passengers is our top priority. In the event of severe weather conditions, the captain may decide to postpone the trip. If this happens, we will work with you to find an agreeable new date for your booking. However, if no mutually convenient date can be found, we will provide you with a full refund. Please refer to our cancellation policy for further information.

We encourage our passengers to bring their own food and drinks on board, including alcohol. For your convenience, we have both cold and hot storage available upon request.

Safety Guidelines

For your safety and comfort, we ask that you follow the recommendations below when sailing with us.

Firstly, it's important to stay well hydrated and well nourished throughout your journey to prevent the possibility of heat stroke. We recommend that you bring enough extra water to stay hydrated, especially if you bring alcohol on board, as well as sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat to protect yourself from the sun's rays.

Additionally, please let the captain or staff know of any health conditions or worries that you have before the trip, so we can make accomodations.

Finally, although it is unlikely that you will get wet on the yacht, we recommend that you wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in, just in case.

We want you to enjoy your sailing experience with us and by taking these simple precautions you can ensure that your trip is both safe and comfortable!
